Bowling first, the Colts were able to keep Wingello to a modest total of about 218.
Some early wickets fell leaving the Tigers reeling, however one of their young batsmen soon got comfortable as the wickets became harder to come by, with Wingello ending up on eight after the 45.
Sean Young took on an impressive bowling load and did well to stifle the Wingello batsmen at the death.
Dale and Wes Thomas got a couple of wickets each with "Shaggy" Charles Whatman and the Prophet also bowled clinically.
In the end, the Colts will rue missed chances in the field that could've capitalised on the dominance they had before drinks.
There's not a whole lot to say about the Colt's batting performance.
Eddie top-scored with a score in the 20s and Nic was very unlucky to back heel a leg side wide causing the ball to dribble slowly back on to the stumps.
Wingello must've been doing something right though, as I believe most of their wickets were us being bowled.
In the end, there were several areas that the Colts can look back on positively, as well as several areas where improvement is needed ahead of the two dayers.
Wingello's Grant Pike ended the day on 87 not out.
Jack Baldwin also logged 58 runs for the Tigers.
