This year smaller crowds gathered across memorial services across the Highlands to commemorate the end of Word War I and to remember the service men and women since then.
The Berrima Remembrance Day service was organised by the Berrima Residents Association and led by the year six leaders at Berrima Public School.

More than 20 local community members gathered at the War Memorial, together with representative students from the 159-student Berrima Public School to commemorate the 102nd Anniversary of Armistice Day, known as Remembrance Day. Lest We Forget.
The ceremony began with a welcome to those assembled, followed by an introduction and recount of World War I , the importance of Remembrance Day and the significance of the poppies. Students from Berrima Public School also recited their school pledge which was then followed by The Ode.
A minutes silence was held, after which the flags were raised and the Rouse was played.
The ceremony ended at the conclusion of the National Anthem.
