Highlands Connect will launch monthly network events for businesses in the Highlands. The informal events will allow businesses to engage with one another, discuss potential collaborations and speak to council and government representatives.
Invited business owners will be able to talk at connect meetings about collaborations or challenges and government representatives will be to provide relevant updates.
CEO of RDASI Carisa Wells said she was delighted at the response of the local business community.
"These events are designed to bring the local business community together and encourage more collaboration," she said.
"Registrations are really strong already. I think businesses are truly ready to get back out there and network again.
President of the SHCCI Steven Horton expressed his excitement at being a part of the event.
"Highlands Connect is all about networking with short, sharp pitches from local businesses and government," he said.
"It's a chance once a month for businesses to come together, catch up, stay on top of relevant updates and find ways to collaborate and work with other businesses."
The inaugural Highlands Connect meeting will be held on November 12 at Mittagong RSL from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.
Several business owners and government representatives will make a presentation, including Life Coach Georgia Bamber, John Guest from The Fold, and Rhonda Lawrie from the Office of Regional NSW.

The meetings will also be livestreamed on the Southern Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Industry Facebook page.
