Chris Brangwin and Robin Staples defeated Keith Edwards and Owen Williams 20-18 in the match of the day.
The rain came back on Wednesday, but the bowlers kept rolling away with a persistent drizzle all afternoon.
In the first three ends Edwards and Williams found touch pretty quick, going to a 7-0 lead.
Then Brangwin and Staples started working their way into a winning position to only trail 10-8 after 11 ends.
With some speculated shots, Edwards and Williams took a 17-14 lead with three ends to play.
On the 19th end Brangwin and Staples came fighting back to score five shots and take the lead 19-17.
They maintained the lead to the finish to win by two shots.

Friday Night Hit Out: Nominated pairs, four week competition, two games of seven ends each week.
- 1 x power play each week
- $40.00 team each week
- $1,280 prize pool based off eight teams. This will be commencing from October 16, at 6pm Friday night.
- Nominations close October 15.
Bowls NSW have announced pennants grade 2-7 finals to be played on July, 16-18 2021.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions enforced upon the state, country and internationally, the 2021 season will be a challenging one.
