The van pulls in to St Stephen's Anglican Church in Mittagong Each fortnight on Fridays with the next visit on September 11.
The service provides the opportunity for people in the community access to up to two bags full of pantry items for just $10 a bag.
It's aim is to provide low-cost groceries so that people can stretch their budget further.
One of the church members involved in the program Lynette Ray said that people could choose from a variety of pantry staples including flour, sugar, long life milk and tinned products to fill their bag.
The options for prepared meals donated by Mittagong RSL Club is also available.
"The items available through the pantry vary from one visit to the next," Lynette said.
"Some food is donated, but Anglicare also purchases many of the items available, that is why there is a fee charged for each bag."

Lynette is quick to point out that anyone was welcome to make a purchase from the pantry and eftpos services were available.
However, she said there was a two bag limit per person.
The pantry service is available at the church fortnightly on Fridays from 10.30am to 11.30am.
Those who stop to make a purchase through the pantry are also welcome to drop in for a cuppa and a sweet treat at the church's popular Friday morning tea.
Supported with donations of cakes and pastries from Gumnut Patisserie, Bakers' Delight and the Chelsea Bakery in Mittagong, the morning tea is held each Friday from 10am until midday.
The morning tea provides an opportunity for people to catch up with others in the community while enjoying a complementary drink, and cake or pastry.
Lynette said that sanitiser would be available and social distancing was required to meet the current COVID-19 regulations.
She said there was also a limit of 50 people at the venue at any one time.
The church is located on the corner of Main and Station Streets, Mittagong.
The schedule for the community pantry visits to the church for the remainder of the year are September 11 and 25, October 9 and 23, November 6 and 20 and December 4.
