Clubs help to provide financial and social support for those in their care during times of hardship and grief.
In the past, the Southern Highlands community has had the opportunity to support their Legacy Club for commemorative events and fundraising activities.
Sydney Legacy, along with 44 other clubs around Australia and one in London, is working to navigate a very different Legacy Week to years gone by.
Due to state and national government COVID-19 restrictions, the Southern Highlands Division has decided to cancel their face-to-face Badge Day fundraising initiatives.
Southern Highlands Division president said Tim McKinnon AM said he knew he could rely on the community's support during and beyond the pandemic.
"While we are disappointed that we are unable to fundraise face-to-face locally, we know that we can rely on the Southern Highlands communities generosity."

Southern Highlands Legacy currently looks after 166 veterans' families, providing support with a dedicated Legatee for contact and companionship through the Highlanders Club.
Nationally, Legacy cares for 52,000 veterans' families, including Widows in their senior years, younger widows with children, and veterans' dependents with a disability.
