Bowls news:
Test series cancelled. The test series between NSW and Tasmania set for August 31 to September 3 to be played at Wagga Wagga has been cancelled owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
The series commenced in 1965.
This was the first time the series was to have been played out of metropolitan Sydney.
But, acknowledgment by both state bodies that at all times the safety of players and the general public must come first and with the latest outbreak of coronavirus it would appear that in the best interest of all the series be cancelled.
