With COVID-19 measures in place, the school made a few changes to comply and increase the fun.
Acting head of PDHPE and sports organiser Debby Middleton said some changes to events had to be made such as replacing the traditional high jump with limbo to make it Covid safe.
"We have hand wipes, sanitisers and spray sanitisers for all the event stations," she said.

"Students sanitise before and after each event and everything is wiped down after each use."
Ms Middleton said that while students weren't competing for a zone competition placing, they were still competing for school house points.
Events at the athletics carnival included the traditional 100m sprint, relay, discus, javelin, long jump and shot up. Novelty events included doing the limbo, throwing a frisbee and pool foam noodle race.
The carnival ended with a relay and steeplechase.
