The Mittagong District Darts Association (MDDA) posted on their Facebook page that the 2020 competition has been postponed until at least 2021.
"We have received this message today from the Mittagong RSL Club," MDDA spoksperson said.
As a consequence the executive has no choice but to postpone the rest of the season until at least 2021.
"If we are able to return at anytime this year it will be on social level only."
Catering Manager for the Mittagong RSL, Alan Cunynghame said COVID restrictions have been the cause of the delay.
"As Covid 19 restrictions have been increased on our business I write to advise you that we will not be in a position to allow darts to re-start at Mittagong RSL Club at the present time," Cunynghame said.
"We will be in contact with you as soon as we are in a position to welcome our dart players back."
