"After a consultation with the club today, I can confirm darts will be returning to the Mittagong RSL and Highlands Hotel for their weekly games," Mr Denny said.
"Games will be played from Wednesday, July 15, but under strict restrictions."
Like all other sports, returning to the game is met with a list of restrictions that must be adhered to.
"All dart players must use their own darts," Mr Denny said.
"Alcohol can only be consumed by seated patrons and once they have got their drinks from the bar, they are to go back to their seats. There is to be no standing around and talking.
"Scorers will need to be seated on stools, no standing.
"Like everywhere, social distancing must be adhered to. We will organise tables suitably at both venues."
Personal and safety hygiene will be expected and provided. Players must make sure that they embrace these changes to allow play to continue.
"We will be providing alcohol wipes for iPad screens," Mr Denny said.
"These must be used before and after every game and the association will be purchasing hand sanitiser for each board that must be used by all players.
"There are to be no handshakes. This will remain in place for the time being.
"Spray sanitiser will be lightly sprayed on the boards between games and players are asked to avoid touching the dart board where possible during games."
There will be two weeks of social games that will run from July 15 and 22 before the competition resumes from July 29 at the Mittagong RSL.
A meeting will be held on July 15 at 6.30pm to discuss the new competition length and formats at the Mittagong RSL.
"There is also a legal return to darts COVID-19 plan being completed over the coming days," Mr Denny said.
"This will be will be kept on file by the committee and both of our venues. A copy will be available to members. If they do request a copy, these can be provided.
"Please contact any of the committee or our secretary if you have any queries in regards to this information."
