These works follow demolition activities undertaken onsite in late 2019.
The construction works will be completed in two stages to minimise disruption and inconvenience.
- Stage 1 - stormwater drainage pipe and pits
- Stage 2 - car park extension plus Argyle Lane road improvements
Stage 1 works are scheduled to commence on May 11 and Stage 2 works shortly thereafter.
Construction activities will be carried out between 7.00am and 6.00pm weekdays.
During these periods, sections of the road may be closed or temporarily reduced to one-way traffic.
Access to properties on Wattle Lane and Argyle Lane, including the existing car park, will be maintained throughout the construction.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
Council thanks business owners and motorists in advance for their co-operation and apologises for any temporary delays or inconvenience.
Works are expected to be completed by mid-July.
All time frames are subject to weather conditions.
