With an extremely bright future in the game of Basketball, Cameron Doust plays centre but has the vision of a point guard and the touch of a shooting guard.
He has put a lot of hard work into his game, but now due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's hindering his ability to get out there and continually improve.
"I understand in this time we're going through, that we need to take precaution and bring in more restrictions," Doust said.
"But it kind of makes me mad how I can't go to multiple basketball courts in our community. I can't even go just get in a quick shoot around by myself.
"I have a basketball ring in my backyard, so for about a hour everyday I go outside and work on my game. Whether that be ball handling, shooting or strength and conditioning.
"Sometimes I go to a outdoor court not far away and do my training there as well, but recently basketball NSW have announced some programs that they plan to hold to make sure we keep up to shape with everything by the time the season starts again."
Like all team sports, it's not just the game players like Doust are missing. It's more than a game.
"I miss playing with my mates the most," Doust said.
"Considering that some of my mates don't go to the same school as me, I haven't seen them for a few weeks now and probably won't for a while.
"Just the thought of coming back to basketball and playing with them is really nice."
Doust looks up to an up-coming NBA superstar. This player dropped 70 points in a game and that established to the league he was real. Not a bad role-model to look up to.
"The player I look up to would have to be the Phoenix Sun's guard, Devin Booker," Doust said.
"The way he always thrives to get to that number one spot no matter how long it's taking him is really inspirational. Also the way how he blocks out all the hate and criticism and only worries about his game is amazing."
It's undecided if any sport will go ahead in 2020 as of right now. But, if it does return, Doust will be ready.
"The goal that I want to accomplish whether the sport season will continue or if I have to wait until next season is the same," Doust said.
"I want to help my representative team win a gold medal and move onto state championships.
"I also want to make the state team and represent NSW Country at the Australian Junior championships."
