"Moss Vale Soccer Club approached us and asked if were interested in hosting the charity game between themselves and UNSW as their fields were unavailable.
"It's a great way to spend money in the community and the whole of the Southern Highlands region. They can go out for dinner later."
Bundanoon Rebel's promotion officer Penny Webb said the club and committee members were more than happy to help.
The committee also fired up the barbecue and opened the canteen to help generate some much needed funds for the soccer club.
The club was first formed in 1991. Last year the club received a $1000 grant for new fields. Bundanoon Rebels is a community orientated club that gives back to the people. The club often stocks second hand boots for families who need assistance. The club is currently registering players and the soccer season will kick off on March 28.
