Commonwealth Bank Moss Vale branch employees have donated $500 to Friends of Wingecarribee Animal Shelter as part of a nationwide community donation program.
The Your Angel charity that offers groups and individuals in need of social, emotional, financial or disability support has also been boosted with a $500 donation from the staff at the bank's Bowral branch.
Over the next few months, Commonwealth Bank has again pledged to donate $500,000 nationally to recognise organisations that make a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Each Commonwealth Bank branch and customer-facing team has been allocated $500 to donate to causes important to their local community.
The staff at each branch are committed to driving positive change within their communities to make a difference locally and for all Australians.
Commonwealth Bank's Moss Vale branch team voted to support the great work of Friends of Wingecarribee Animal Shelter.
Branch manager Desiree Paull said that "with the festive season approaching, it's a timely opportunity for us to show our support for Friends of Wingecarribee Animal Shelter."
"In particular, the work they do in ensuring that the animals are loved and looked after, so it's great to be able to give back and support this work," she said.
The Bowral branch manager, Ms Lawrence said that "with the festive season approaching, it's a timely opportunity for us to show our support for Your Angel Charity."
