It was the first time in more than five years that Bowral Cricket Club that they were able to field two teams for third grade cricket.
Bowral Kookaburras faced off against Bowral Cavaliers as they battled it out for glory and bragging rights in a game of friendly rivalry.
Club stalwart Jodi Cooper said that third grade cricket was a pathway for kids coming up from juniors.
"It's a great way to introduce [players] to the senior competition," she said.
Opening batsmen Chris and Andrew McLeod took to the pitch for the Cavaliers and amassed a total of 98 runs between them, with Andrew out for 40 and Chris out 58.
The total run rate for Bowral Cavaliers was 6/256 after 40 overs.
Bowral Kookaburras weren't going down without a fight.
Hayden Koek fought hard for the Kookaburras before he was caught out at 76. The Kookaburras were all out for 9/247.
