Artists Susan Heslin and Kim Shannon will showcase their latest works in the pop-up gallery and main gallery space through the course of November.
Susan, who's exhibition begins on October 31 and will run until November 13 in the pop up gallery and has spent most of the year in her studio capturing the changes in the seasons.
I have spent most days in my studio during 2019, using the time to explore my world as a painter," she said.
"I have painted still life with objects inherited, collected and found, moving from one painting to the next intuitively and in response to the rhythm of my days as well as the changes in season leading to changes in nature influence the colours and the quality of the light that surround us."
For Kim, her work is inspired by objects around the house and the observed world.
"I have always enjoyed the observed world, and the challeng eof bringing that together with an interior one, becoming aware of the metaphor, or just painting something for the sheer pleasure of it," she said.
"I paint the things that are around the house; things lived with -including people or the beauty of an accidental arrangementof shapes and spaces."
Kim's exhibition will be in the main gallery and will run from November 1 to December 1.
There will be a drinks with the artists event on November 2 from 2 pm.
The Milk Factory Gallery is open seven days a week from 10 am - 4 pm.
