She has been named among a list of world class athletes as a finalist for the NSW Institute of Sport's (NSWIS) annual awards night to be held on November 14 at Royal Randwick Racecourse.
The women's super combined world champion was announced as a nominee for the Office of Sport Female Athlete of the Year, pitting her against the likes of three-time summer Olympian, Cate Campbell, PyeongChang Winter Olympic medallist Jakara Anthony, and 2018 award winner Jessica Fox.
Perrine, along with sighted guide Bobbi Kelly, backed up her two bronze medals at the PyeongChang Winter Paralympics by claiming a total of five medals (one gold, two silver, one bronze) at the 2019 Para Alpine World Championships.
During the 2019/20 winter sport season, the 31-year-old also amassed a world cup medal haul consisting of four golds, six silvers, and two bronze medals, making her a strong contender for one of the night's most anticipated awards.
No stranger to success, Perrine was named as a finalist and went on to win the Institute's Personal Excellence Award last year. The category recognises the achievements athletes are able to make in their respective academic and professional pursuits while balancing their sporting careers.
The NSWIS Awards brings together several of Australia's most decorated sporting individuals in celebration of the collective efforts of NSWIS athletes, coaches, staff and partners.
