Mittagong branch members hosted a stall at Highlands Marketplace last week to promote the work of the CWA and to drive new memberships.
CWA Publicity officer Elva Pankhurst said the stall was set-up to coincide with the organisation's Australia-wide awareness week.
"We'd like new women to join our group. We have all sorts of activities, such as exercise classes and games days," she said.
"We'd like to thank the community for the support they've given us. When we do have an event or fundraiser we do get good support."
The CWA is the largest women's organisation in Australia and aims to improve conditions for country women and children.
Groups reach the aim in various ways including lobbying for change, helping the local community, creating a network of support and meeting together in towns and cities.

The CWA Mittagong branch meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 1pm at the CWA Rooms, Winifred West Park, Main St, Mittagong.
