Every third year the P and C together with Bowral Public School to host an art show to generate much needed funds for the school.
The opening night event will be on September 13 and the exhibition will run until September 15. The event offers an opportunity for students to showcase their creative ability to the broader Southern Highlands community and visitors to the area. Individual artworks and collective class artworks will be put on display and are for sale as part of the event.
This year artists from the region will donate artworks to be sold at the event with 100 per cent of the sale price going towards the fundraiser.
Tickets are now on sale for $10 per person for opening night. Food and drinks will be available for purchase on the night. Food vans, music and a great atmosphere is sure to make a fun night.
Guests will be able to admire and purchase original art, enjoy the live auction of class artworks, eat, drink and be merry with the Bowral Public School community and other guests of the school. As alcohol will be served, this will be an adult only event.
A gold coin donation will be required for entry to the exhibition on September 14 and 15.
Beautifully framed and displayed original student artworks will be up for grabs for a cool $25 each.
The artworks can be purchased online via the school's website in the 'make a payment' section before September 13.
Please make sure you write 'Art Show Individual Artwork' as the description and send in your note to the school.
If student artworks aren't sold before the event, they will become the property of the school and will be available for anyone to purchase.
Collective class artworks will be available for sale and will be auctioned online a week prior with the final live auction to take place on opening night. Raffle tickets will be sold in the lead up to the event at $2 each, or $10 for a booklet of six.
