This is according to Domain Group's latest House Price Report for the June 2019 quarter.
The report analyses house prices across regional Australia and the capital cities over the past year as well as five-year trends.
The data revealed median house price for June 2019 was $752,500 in the Wingecarribee Shire.
This represented a decrease of 3.5 per cent in the past year, as the median house price in June 2018 was $780,000.
However over the longer-term there has been an increase in house prices in the past five years.
The median housing price in June 2014 was $492,500, a rise of 52.8 per cent over the past five years.
Meanwhile, house prices up the road in the Goulburn Mulwaree Shire rose 33.8 per cent in five years.
The median house price was $425,000 in the June 2019 quarter, compared to a median price of $317,614 back in June 2014.
However house prices have improved compared to last year, with a median price of $445,000 in June 2018.
Sydney property prices fell further in the June quarter, although the pace of the price falls is slowing.
House prices fell 0.4 per cent in the quarter and 9.1 per cent over the year.
The median house price remains above $1 million, but is 14 per cent below the mid-2017 peak.
Unit prices continued to fall in the June quarter and are down 7.1 per cent over the year.
The median unit price is $688,700, which is 11 per cent below the 2017 peak.
