This Foundation was the dream of late Bowral philanthropist Ted Springett OAM (now deceased) fifteen years ago.
Each year the Springett family have gifted over $120,000 to local beneficiaries.
Ted used to say "Bowral has been kind to the Springetts since they first moved from Mittagong to Bowral in 1926 and the Springetts have been kind to Bowral".
The recipients that have benefited this year include Challenge Southern Highlands - Welby Garden Centre, Interchange (Australia) - Springett House, Kollege of Knowledge Kommittee for Kids, the National Youth Science Forum - Skye Holmwood, Youth Radio 92.5FM and Wingecarribee Adult Day Care Centre - Bowral.
