The 16-year-old has been selected with 15 other young Australian leaders for a life-changing opportunity to attend the UN Young Diplomats Tour of Europe 2020.
As a part of the trip, Gracie will travel to seven different European cities including visits to Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Budapest, Brussels, Krakow and The Hague throughout January.
She will meet the world's best minds, including diplomats and politicians.
The group will also discuss critical issues facing the world today with her fellow young Australians.
For Gracie, the news still hasn't sunk in yet.
"It doesn't feel real yet. It was such a long process," she said.
"I had in my head that it wasn't going to happen when I got the call.
"I'm really looking forward to it. I think it's definitely going to be a life-changing experience."
Gracie said she hoped the trip would give her a starting point to help others on a global scale and be an advocate for those without a voice.
"As I'm in the senior years of high school I'm coming to a decision about what I want to do [after school]," she said.
"I know I want to have a meaningful impact and have something to do with social change.
"I'm looking forward to meeting people who are the influencers of social change."
Gracie has just launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds for the trip.
