It was a wet Sunday in the Highlands with Burrawang receiving 12 mm of rain over the past 24 hours, closely followed by Moss Vale at 9.6 mm and Mittagong at 1.6 mm.
A spokesperson for the Bureau of Meteorology said that the rain would stick around for the next few days, with showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, with tops of 11 degrees during the day.
By Thursday the rain should clear up.
The rain throughout the month of June has had a positive impact on the Wingecarribee Reservoir.
The reservoir is currently at 57 per-cent, a 0.6 per-cent rise since last month. It's not all good news though as this time last year the reservoir was at 65.7 per cent.
Wingecarribee Reservoir has a capacity of 24,130 ml.
