The campaign is in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)
Local bakery owners Jo and Geoff Harrington have worked with Bakers Delight for almost 20 years and have been Pink Bun champions since the campaign first started in 2004.
Bakers Delight Mittagong has raised more than $7000 for BCNA - that's more than 5500 fun buns and 5000 rolls sold in four weeks.
Jo also owns Bakers Delight Bowral and the two stores combined have raised more than $10,000 for BCNA.
Previously diagnosed with breast cancer herself, Jo feels very passionate about the campaign and BCNA.
"BCNA is such an important organisation that truly touches the lives of so many affected by breast cancer," she said.
"The local community is at the heart of our store, with the team genuinely caring for the community and its people.
"Hearing our customers' stories motivates us all to do whatever we can to raise as much as possible for the cause."
Bakers Delight Joint CEO, Elise Gillespie said the result was typical of Jo and Geoff's commitment to fostering strong communities and highlighted what can be achieved when people band together.
"Jo and Geoff and the team at Mittagong have worked tirelessly to support BCNA year after year and raising the highest amount of donations in New South Wales is an amazing achievement," she said.
"Bakers Delight and BCNA have been breast friends for almost 20 years and we are so grateful when our Franchisees embrace this partnership and dedicate their time to raise funds for something that touches so many Australians."
Now in its 15th year, the Pink Bun Campaign raises funds which enable BCNA's talented team to continue providing valuable information and assistance free of charge to breast cancer patients across Australia.
Customers can continue to support BCNA all year round at their local Bakers Delight store by purchasing a Breast Friend or Enviro tote bag, with 50c from every purchase going directly to BCNA.
Bakers Delight nationally has raised over $1.3 million for BCNA during the Pink Bun campaign.
