Bunnings Mittagong donated the pond to the school to encourage the children to interact with nature.
Students braved the winter cold and the chilly wind to help with the installation of the pond.
Administration manager Judi Schofield said the pond looked great in the school's agricultural area.
Staff at Exeter Public School thanked Bunnings for the donation of the pond and tools for their vegetable garden.
An army of frogs are bound to make the pond home come springtime.
It is sure to be a 'ribbiting' experience for the kids.
