The new Greens candidate David Powell was drawn out as second on the ballot paper, followed by Animal Justice Party candidate Heather Edwards and Pauline Hanson's One Nation candidate Charlie Fenton.
Ms Hannan said her main concern was the results on election day.
"It’s not about winning the lottery, it’s about winning the race," she said. "But I’m really pleased to be in that position because it makes it easier for people to see where I am."
Taking out fifth place was Shooters, Fishers and Farmers candidate Jason Bolwell while Liberal candidate Nathaniel Smith was in sixth place and Jo-Ann Davidson followed in seventh place.
Last-minute entrant into the election race Liberal Democrat Mitchell Black took out the eighth and final spot on the paper.
Mr Powell, Mr Bolwell and Mr Black were absent from the ballot draw, which was conducted by Wollondilly election manager Belinda Osborne and election official Barbara Daly in Mittagong on Thursday.
Ms Davidson was also absent from the draw due to a hospital funding announcement, but sent her husband in her place.
Pre-polling opens in the Southern Highlands on Monday morning from 8am at 67 Main Street, Mittagong.
The office will be open until 6pm from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm on Thursday, March 21 and from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.
The pre-polling centre will be closed on Sundays.
