Kicking off on March 8 and 9 2019, the show, in it's 136th year, promises to put the culture in agriculture.
Boasting an impressive line up of cattle judging, dog show jumping, hay stacking competition, the children's Spud Olympics and of course, the potato races, the Robertson show is not to be missed.
If that doesn't quite get your fancy, there will be a walkabout reptile show throughout both days, where kids can get up and close to live reptiles of all shapes and sizes. There will also be fascinating fun facts and giveaways.
If you've ever wandered how to wash your chook, now is the time to find out. Chook washing demonstrations will be held over both days at 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm near the poultry shed.
On Saturday night, there will be a young farmers challenge. Teams of four, aged between 16-40 year-olds must complete a set of challenge in the fastest time, with the correct techniques and safe work methods. Challenges may include, fencing a backing trailer, hay stacking and livestock handling whilst driving a tractor.
The Young Farmers Challenge aims to promote excellence in farming and showcase involvement of youth in agriculture through a display of skills, equipment and techniques farmers use every day.
Of course, it wouldn't be the Robertson show without the annual potato races. The famous potato race is 50 years old in 2019. Watch men and women, young and old battle it out for potato glory down at the track on Saturday March 9 at 2:30pm
Tickets are available at the door. Prices start from $4 dollars on Friday and $5 dollars on Saturday, kids under 10 are free.
You can check out the Robertson show at 2315 Kangaloon Rd, Robertson.
