The post received more than 70 likes and more than 110 comments, with people commenting well into the night about which items the patisserie should put in and which they should take out.
There was strong support for the addition of a neenish tart, however Mrs Nickl said they were unable to make a small version but a bigger version would be available for individual sale.
One commenter suggested the bakery do an Australia Day version of the party box, with vanilla slice, lamingtons, neenish tarts and mini pavlovas.
There was also strong support for the lemon tart and the banoffee tart.
Mrs Nickl said the post started from a discussion between the team.
“We had a discussion in the kitchen and said maybe we should ask our customers,” she said.
“The response has been really interesting. I was surprised that so many people wanted the same stuff.”
At this stage the patisserie is looking to take out the caramel tart and the apple pie.
The mini apple pie was recently added to replace the mini apple turnover and coincide with the annual Pie Time event.
The bakery will change the party box from Monday next week based on feedback from customers.
Bundanoon Hotel to get a free shuttle bus
In a few weeks, the Bundanoon Hotel will have your plan B for your night out.
The hotel has announced that it will have a free shuttle bus within the next few weeks.
The owners are looking to find a driver for the bus, and will also be looking to get the drivers to deliver takeaway pizzas.
The business will finalise several details soon, including the times of the shuttle bus, the locations, if they can add baby seats and the takeaway pizzas.
Bundanoon Hotel licensee Mark Potts said he welcomed feedback from the community.
“We’re open to anything. If there’s the supply there, we’ll keep getting on times,” he said.
“We’ll start slow and then add on times.”
The official starting date for the shuttle bus will be announced on the Bundanoon Hotel Facebook page soon.
