Police have urged motorists to stop, revive and survive after a man was lucky to walk away from a single vehicle collision in the Southern Highlands.

Police were called to Sheepwash Road in Burrawang at about 4pm on Christmas Eve following reports of a single vehicle collision.
On arrival police saw a white four-wheel drive lying on its side, adjacent to the roadway.
The driver, a 66-year-old man, had managed to get himself out of the vehicle before police had arrived and was then attended to by ambulance officers at the scene.

The driver was taken to Bowral District Hospital for scans and his injuries were not considered serious or life threatening.
Police said initial investigations had suggested driver fatigue may have been the cause of the incident, enquiries are ongoing.
Police have asked motorists, especially those travelling long distances, to make sure they have at least 8 hours sleep before they begin their journey and to stop every two hours to rest and refresh themselves before continuing on their journey safely.
