The Bowral resident recently won the under-11 girls beach sprints and flags at the 2018 Sydney Water Surf Series.
The four rounds were held at Warilla Barrack Point, Kiama Downs, Fairy Meadow and Shellharbour beaches.
In just her second season of Surf Lifesaving Nippers, her recent win resulted in further success for 2018.
Earlier this year, Poulos competed at the Surf Life Saving Illawarra branch carnival recently, which was made up of competitors from all surf life saving clubs in the region.
She came away with three gold medals in the beach sprints, the flags and the under-10 mixed relay.
Poulos was then selected to be on the North Wollongong state team to go up to Swansea, Belmont for the stage age championships.
She competed with the best and most competitive clubs in NSW, from the Queensland border right down to the Victorian border.
The recent Sydney Water Surf series was held over a period of four weeks at different locations in the Illawarra and the South Coast.

The series caters for under-8s through to Masters in surf and beach individual events, with close to 1200 athletes competing last season in the series.
Poulos is a member of the North Wollongong SLSC, and said she loved to compete and what better way to combine the two things she loves the most, the beach and running.
She said she also gets to catch up with all the friends she has made from clubs across NSW.
Her mum Danielle said it was a great achievement, as she doesn’t live near the beach and as such cannot train as much as some of the competitors from other clubs.
“It’s a big commitment as we live so far from the beach and spend so much time driving with lots of early starts.”
