The Illawarra Highway has reopened in both directions through Macquarie Pass after being closed earlier due to flooding and fallen trees.
Tourist Road has also reopened between the Illawarra Highway and Kirkland Road.
Motorists are still advised to exercise caution and drive to the conditions.
EARLIER:
Flooding has closed Macquarie Pass on the Illawarra Highway in both directions.
Emergency services and the Roads and Maritime Services are currently in attendance.
According to the Transport Management Centre, road was closed just after 8.30am.

Motorists are advised to use an alternative route, allow extra travel time and don’t drive through floodwater.
Light vehicles can use Jamberoo Mountain Road or Moss Vale Road.
Heavy vehicles can use Picton Road.
