The Stage Fright Players, Interchange Australia’s drama group, meet weekly to develop their skills in theatre production – including acting, directing, writing, set design, lighting, sound and costume design – under the professional guidance of director Mandy Bansgrove and our experienced support staff.
The inspiring, supportive environment offers many positive benefits to participants, including increasing communication skills, self-confidence, creativity and imagination, recognising individual talents and promoting cooperation and teamwork.
Last but not least, participants are guaranteed to laugh and have fun!
All Stage Fright Player’s productions are original productions. They write their own scripts and each actor is supported to create their own characters and design their own costumes.
The Stage Fright Players will be performing “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” at Welby Hall on Friday, November 30 as part of our festive season celebrations.
The show starts at 5.30pm and tickets are available from the Interchange Australia office or at the venue on the night of the show.
Tickets are $10 for dinner and the show or $5 for the show only.
Following the Stage Fright Players performance, The Hidden Wonders, a band comprising of Interchange Australia music program participants, will perform a selection of Christmas carols. Audience participation is encouraged.
This performance coincides with Social Inclusion Week.
The aim of Social Inclusion Week is to bring all sections of a community together, to assist everyone to feel included and valued, and to give everyone the opportunity to participate fully in society.
