With heritage guitars covering the walls and mood-setting fairy lights draped from the ceiling, Bowral-based guitar company, T Guitars transformed itself for a special live music event on November 8.
T Guitars owner Andy Thompson said the night provided a “place in Bowral for bands to play.”
“I want this to be a space for bands that don’t have a major following but want a place to play a great intimate show, that gets in touch with the crowd. This is the first show and I hope it sets the tone for things to come.
“Sydney is only a stones throw away and we want bands to continue to come back to Bowral.”
It was also the opportunity to treat Highlanders to international talent with Tracy McNeil and The Goodlife from Canada headlining the night, along with Melbourne's Dan Parsons as the supporting act. “We’re hoping to host a show three to four times a year,” Andy said.

The next show is planned for January and a songwriter circle will be the theme. “[This involves] about three songwriters sitting in a circle, playing a few of their original songs and then breaking the songs down and explaining what those songs mean to them,” Andy said.
“They then repeat that method but with a cover song they enjoy. They all take turns and it usually results in about nine songs played and makes for a great night.”
