Highlands Tenpin Bowling junior teams competed in the last round at Campbelltown on Sunday, October 14.
Sixteen teams were bowling for a place in the top four which would qualify them for the finals in November at Gosford.
Going into the last round the Mittagong Lions Blue were sitting in ninth and Mittagong Lions Green were in fifth .
After the first match Mittagong Blue had moved into fifth and Mittagong Green into third.
Both teams bowled exceptionally well in the last game and both secured a spot in the finals with Blue finishing fourth and Green second overall.
The Blue team consisted of team captain Sam Sutton, Dylan Gordon, Tyler Hannon and Hayden Honey who all bowled consistently throughout the round.
Bowling in every game they held it together to out bowl their opponents.

Tyler Hannon put in an outstanding effort to beat his personal best score during the round.
This will be the second year the Blue team has reached the finals.
The Green Team were relatively newcomers and put in a great effort to finish second .
The team consists of Logan Williamson, Jorga Simpson, Josie Mendina, Jarrod Hannon and Leavi Bell.
Beating his Personal Best and just joining the team was Leavi Bell who fitted in perfectly.
Couch Luke Hannon was very proud of the teams and how much progress they had made during the year.
