“We’re currently appealing for information and reviewing CCTV footage.”
Inspector Klepczarek urged anyone that noticed any suspicious activity between 10.20pm on Wednesday night and 4.30am on Thursday morning to contact police.
“It’s a small town and quiet at that time of the morning,” he said.
“If anyone saw any activity, no matter how small, contact Southern Highlands police.”
Inspector Klepczarek reminded residents to be on the look-out for any unusual activity.
“Be vigilant for anything suspicious,” he said.
“I’d rather people err on the side of caution and inform police just to be safe.”
