The group held a successful art exhibition as part of the festival for the second year running.
More than 300 people attended the exhibition and sales doubled from the previous year.
The group hosts three regular art groups in the region, including Art in the Afternoon lead by Annette Hearne and Richard Atkin, Fun With Watercolour with Pat Glading and Painting with Oils with George Morgan.
The U3A Southern Highlands is one of the largest in NSW with more than 1000 members and growing. It offers 60 plus courses each term, with the aim of providing with more skills and hobbies.
Some are ongoing while others are topical, changing from term to term.
There is enormous talent and experience in the Highlands, with members offering to lead courses and share their knowledge.
