The next Mittagong Uniting Church Singalong will be held on April 23 at 1.30pm. Come along and be entertained by Balladeer Ian Woolfe. Mittagong CWA
The Mittagong Branch of CWA will meet at their rooms in Winifred West Park, Old Hume Highway, Mittagong, a day earlier this month on April 24. This is because Anzac Day falls on the regular meeting day. Activities will include handicraft (knitting) at 11.00 am, lunch at midday and the meeting at 1pm. Visitors are welcome. Craft morning
Get crafty with Bowral CWA craft group. The next gathering of the group is on May 1. If you are new to the Highlands this is a good way to meet people in a fun and friendly environment while honing your craft skills. CWA meeting
The Bowral Branch of CWA will hold its next meeting on May 8 at 1.30 pm. The speaker topic will be skincare products. Afternoon tea will be served following the meeting. Fashion parade
CWA Bowral will hold a Mother’s Day fashion parade from 11.30am on May 9 in the CWA rooms at 40 Wingecarribee Street. Fashions will be supplied by a local fashion house and a light lunch will be served following the parade. Other activities will include with a raffle, lucky door prize and discount vouchers up for grabs. Proceeds of the day will go towards a domestic violence prevention program. Seniors' Club
Mittagong Seniors’ Club meets each Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 2.30pm at the Community Centre in Queen Street, Mittagong. Come for morning tea at 10am to learn more. The group offers a variety of activities including craft, games, ukulele and various outings.
Bushwalking
The Southern Highlands Bushwalkers Inc will have two walking options on offer on April 29.
The Gorge walk follows a track down Efflux and through the gorge, clambering through huge boulders to Shoalhaven River. This will be followed by a long strenuous incline on White Track to the top.
The second option is a walk along yellow and green tracks. This is a moderate walk led by Malcolm.

Moss Vale CWA
Moss Vale CWA branch will meet at 12.45pm for 1.00pm on Friday, April 27 at the rooms at 66 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale. New friends are welcome to attend, with an interesting speaker this month once again. After the meeting the group will have afternoon tea with plenty of time for chatting.
