Next week Highlanders can expect the unexpected from comedian Matt Hale when he presents his popular show Hypnolicious.
The show will combine comedy with hypnotism to engage audiences and make them laugh out loud.
CMS productions will be the local presenter of this one night only show.
CMS director Clare Macarthur Stanham said the show was "something out of the ordinary" for the Southern Highlands.
"I think it's wonderful to be able to offer a different form of entertainment," Clare said.
"It may appeal to a different section of our community - including younger people,"
"We're incredibly lucky for him to have found a date in his schedule."
Clare said every show the comedian presented was different.
"It's extraordinary to see him work the audience," she said.
"It depends on what bounces back at him,"
"I hope everyone arrives wanting to have fun."
The show will involve real hypnosis which will display the incredible abilities of the mind.
Matt will have volunteers under his spell with hilarious but tasteful consequences.
He recently impressed a 4500-strong audience with his abilities at the Perth Fringe Festival.
He has performed at public and corporate events across Australia, Asia and the United Kingdom.
He has gained a strong following in his travels including former professional boxer Mike Tyson.
Matt Hale will perform on Thursday, June 2 from 8pm to 9.30pm at the Mittagong Playhouse.
The show is suitable for all ages.
