Featuring Australian classics such as The Man From Snowy River to characters from ancient tales including King Arthur and a range of knights, the SHCS parade had it all.
Some characters were harder to spot, with several striped Where's Wally? incarnations seen throughout the primary school crowd.
Saucepan Man from Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree made an appearance, as did Lewis Carroll's Queen of Hearts from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
The school community and several parents were there to support the students as each class took to the stage of the school hall to show off their costumes.
