The classes offer participants a chance to learn new skills in a friendly environment. BDAS art classes have a focus on getting started and teaching foundational skills as well as improving on existing understandings for those looking to improve their skills.
The term began on Monday, with spaces still available in many classes.
Classes on offer include an untutored group on Mondays for those with an interest in botanic art, an expressive drawing and painting class with Libby Wakefield on Tuesdays and a new printmaking class with Tony Deigan on Tuesday evenings, as well as a pastel and acrylics class with Tracey Miller.
Oils and acrylics classes are offered by Kate Broadfoot on Wednesdays, as well as printmaking and life drawing, and painting ceramics on Wednesday afternoons with Carmel Malcolm.
Thursday mornings offer printmaking and an untutored painting group, followed by the new Thursday afternoon class, drawing for beginners with Tracey Miller.
Jenny Hawkins tutors 'watercolour world' on Friday mornings while Tracey Miller returns on Friday afternoons for acrylic painting.
There are many options available for artists of all skill levels, with a number of one-off workshops also on offer throughout July, August and September.
