Following the closure, the service will operate with an outreach model, and travel around the region.
The first outreach service will be at CTC Robertson on May 15, from 10am to 2pm.
It will be an open studio where people can read books from the CTC library, do puzzles and games, or bring their own craft projects (except clay and painting).
Attendees are also encouraged to bring snacks, reusable keep cups with lids, and tea and coffee will be served.
Creative Space's Annual Art Show exhibition will be on display at the community centre until June 1.
To book a spot or find out more information, text or call and 0417 847 492, or email creative.space@vinnies.org.au.
What else is coming up
Tai chi sessions with Anthony will start again this month, with Moss Vale or Mittagong proposed as the location, but it is not confirmed.
Music and singing with River Road is also due to start this month.
Other facilitators will also begin working with the service including artist Jessica Raschke, weaving with Pam and well-being sessions with Sarah Norton.
There will also be three community conversations at different locations, where people can attend and discuss what they would like to do, and access with the service.
The community conversations are on the following dates:
- June 6 at Wingecarribee Shire Council from 1pm to 2.45pm
- June 7 at 28 Railway Avenue, Colo Vale from 10am to 11.45am and Mittagong Community Hall from 1.15pm to 3pm
Those who want to RSVP can send their names, locations interests and connections to Creative Space to 0417 847 492, or emailing creative.space@vinnies.org.au.
