The works are being funded by a $194,157 grant from the NSW Government.
A spokesperson says the Active Transport: Get NSW Active Program 2022/23 will improve the footpath on Robertson Road in front of the Moss Vale Showground.
"Construction will primarily take place between the road shoulder opposite Pine Street up to James Street for an estimated duration of three to five weeks, weather permitting," the spokesperson said.
"Residents and visitors can expect minor delays along Robertson Road during the entry and exit of concrete trucks and work vehicles.
"Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the project," they said.
The works aim to create a safer and more accessible walking experience for all users, especially during the busing Showground events.
"The council appreciates the community's patience and understanding as they complete this important project," the spokesperson said.
