A Regency Affair in Exeter
Get the costumes ready
Immerse yourself in a costumed regency house party in Exeter. There will be a catered picnic, croquet and workshops. It is being hosted by Sydney Regency Weekends and will be held at the Exeter Village Hall, from Friday, May 17 to Sunday, May 19.There will be lunches, morning and afternoon teas, and a grand opening dinner on Friday (May 17). It will be followed by a pre-ball dinner, dance classes and a ball on Saturday (May 18), with a picnic lunch and visit to a National Trust property on the Sunday. Tickets prices include three days and are $65 for children 14 and under, $125 for uniformed members of military re-enactors, and $250 for general admission. Two day tickets are also available for adults for $190 (May 17 and 18). Buy them through Humantix.

Selby and Friends: Luminaries

The Golden String Quartet will join artistic director Kathryn Selby, who will be playing the piano. They will perform pieces by Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich. The Southern Highlands Concert Band presents Theatre Music

The Southern Highlands Concert Band will perform music that was written for the stage by composers such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lionel Monckton, and George Gershwin. Stephen Wheatley will offer his voice to the performances. Hear it all on Sunday, May 19 at the Bowral Memorial Hall, from 2pm. Southern Highland's Biggest Bake Off: Wilson Financial
For a good cause
Wilson Financial will hold its annual bake off in support of Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, which is run by the Cancer Council. People can be a part of it by entering bake off and buying raffle tickets and tokens. Creations will be judged by staff at Gumnut Patisserie in four categories. Be a part of it on Wednesday, May 22 at Chevalier College's McGrath Hall from 10am. Entry fees, raffle tickets and tokens can be bought through Trybooking.
