Update: Road reopened following crash in Bong Bong Street

Update 5.18: Bong Bong Street remains closed with police investigations expected to take some time.

4.16pm: Emergency services, including a helicopter, have been called to Bong Bong Street in Bowral were a pedestrian has been hit a truck.

They were called to the area about 3.35pm following reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a truck on Bong Bong Street, between Wingecarribee and Boolwey Streets.

Bong Bong Street is currently closed to traffic in both directions and diversion are in place.

People are urged exercise caution and to avoid the area.
