The popular event, which is held by Bicycling Australia, will make a comeback on October 20.
The classic is known for its designated routes that showcase the Highlands, and go through towns and villages such as Robertson, Berrima, Kangaloon, Exeter and Bowral.
There will be three courses that range from 10 kilometres to 85 kilometres, and early registrations are now open.
It is known for attracting cyclists from across the country and the world, and brings in more than $3 million to the local tourism economy each year.
"We are so excited to have the beautiful Southern Highlands as the backdrop for our flagship classic event," said classics founder James Yaffa.
"Now in its eighth year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for everyone who has supported and continues to support this event.
"Your commitment and enthusiasm not only make the Bowral Classic possible but shape a brighter future for cycling and the broader sports events industry."
As a part of the event, individual riders and teams can fundraise for any charity they choose.
Since it began in 2016, more than $500,000 has been raised for charities across Australia.
The Bowral Classic is supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
People across the Highlands are encouraged to get involved by registering, volunteering over the weekend or supporting competitors.
Those who register until June 23 can save up to 25 per cent off their entry fees and can get the event jersey at a discounted price.
