Mahajatra will be screened at the Empire Cinema on March 25, at 6.30pm.
The comedy follows a group of friends who have troubled pasts and need to hide illegal money, which leads them on a journey that tests their values, friendships and family connections.
Written and directed by Pradeep Bhattara, some of the stars include Hari Bansha Acharya, Bipin Karki, Barsha Raut, and Rabindra Singh Baniya.
The event is supported by the Southern Highlands Nepalese Community Group, which was established in 2017.
The screening aims to promote cultural diversity and celebrate films from around the world.
Figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics' 2021 census reveal that more than 400 people living in the Highlands were born in Nepal.
It is the fourth-highest country statistic for people born outside Australia in the region.
Tickets are $30 each and can be bought through empirecinema.com.au.
