A free mobile community recycling centre (MCRC) will be rolled out from March by Wingecarribee Shire Council, and will stop in many of the towns and villages.

It will travel to designated locations from March 6, and the service will be available from 8.45am to 12.30pm in all of the locations.
It will start in Hill Top and end in Wingello.
Items that can be collected include small household and automotive batteries, waste oils, smoke alarms, cardboard, styrofoam, fluorescent lights, x-rays, writing instruments, empty gas bottles, fire extinguishers, mobile phones and ink cartridges.
Residents can bring waste to the designated locations to be collected.
The service follows strict guidelines from the Environment Protection Authority NSW, with risks for the project being assessed by council.
