The popular event will be held from March 8 to 10 at the Moss Vale Showground.

The Rodeo
Keen riders as young as eight years old can take part in the rodeo on March 8. It will begin at 7.30pm. There will be prizes up for grabs:
- Open bull ride: $1000
- Novice bull ride: $450
- Open steer ride: $500
- Junior steer rides (ages eight to 11 and 11 to 14): $100
- Juvenile steer ride (for 14 to 18-year-olds): $150
Mullet competition
Get your hair ready for this popular competition, which is open to all ages. You can sport your mullets for the event on March 9, at 4.30pm.
Rides, showbags and stalls
There will be plenty of games to play, food and market stalls to wander through and rides to look forward to. People can also enjoy fireworks and a petting zoo.
The Pavilion
See the talents of people of all ages living in the Highlands and beyond. There will be art, photography, cookery, LEGO, needlework, crafts, produce, flowers and more on display. It will be open every day.
The inaugural home brew competition
Southern Highlands Home Brew and Eden Brewery will help host this unique competition. People have the chance to get brewing and showcase their skills and flavours. It will run through the pavilion, and the winners in each category will be announced on March 10. Entries have to be in by March 7.
Piccolo Ponies
Young show-goers can watch fairy Erin and her magical unicorn Piccolo at 9.30am on March 9. There will be free craft activities for kids and people can also take photos with the pair. Children are encouraged to dress up as fairies.
Kelpie demonstrations
See how intelligent the dogs from the Hawkesbury Kelpies are, as they perform different tricks and demonstrations. See them each day during the show.
Young Farmers Challenge
Teams of four will take part in different activities and challenges. It will take place on March 10 at 10.30am, and all entrants have to register by March 6.
The Demolition Derby
It will kick off on March 9 from 6.30pm. Entries have to pay on the day and participants must sign waiver forms. All cars must be at the grounds at 1pm. There will be a last Sunday bash at 2.30pm.
The Ute Muster
Got a Ute you want to show off? You can enter it in the Ute Muster. There will be trophies and prizes for the winners across 10 categories. It will take place on March 10. People can enter from 9am on the day, and will be judged at 10am. The winners will be announced at midday.
Animal competitions
Throughout the show, there will be plenty of cattle, horse, and poultry competitions. People can also enter their family animals in the pet show.
Tickets
Tickets are $15 per adult, $9 for pensioners, $6 for children under 16, and $35 per family pass for two adults and two children.
Children under the age of five and companion card holders can enter for free.
