Good news was hard to find for Moss Vale Golf Clubs' Illawarra Pennants teams after a tough Sunday on the coastal courses.
The A Pennants teams took on The Vale at the tight Kiama course, and despite glimpses of good form the previous week, only Davyd Reeves and Scott Winsor chalked up points halving their games as Moss Vale went down four to one.
The B Pennant Section One team fared little better at Kiama against Wollongong, with only Greg Robinson winning his game.
Owen Babula and Reece Woods only managed to square their games.
The Section Two team also at Kiama met Gerringong and went down three to two, with Dean Engelfield winning his game in an excellent cameo appearance.
Justin Lewis and Tom Saywell managed to square their games.
After a four to one win the previous week, the C Pennant team fell heavily back to earth, going down 4.5 to 0.5 against Jamberoo at Jamberoo.
Only David Prince, a winner last week, managed to register any team points by squaring his game.
In White Horse Cup news, Kris Narayan made it three wins in a row when the Moss Vale team travelled to Nowra to take on the locals.
David Ruse won his game, with Andrew Adams and Carl Davey squaring their games.
The result of the match was a four to three win to Nowra.
