People across the Highlands are being encouraged to make a difference in the community, and make the local environment healthier this Clean Up Australia Day.
The annual clean-up event will be held on March 3.
See the different ways you can get involved:
Register a Clean Up Australia event
Register your event through cleanup.org.au/community and free kits will be mailed to participants. Additional kits can also be collected from the Resource Recovery Centre for free.
For those who have registered and opted for their waste to be collected, council will collect items the following week.
People can grab clean-up kits and choose any town, village, or park to pick up rubbish in. When people register, they will get kits mailed to them.
Inspire others to join you by using the hashtag #CleanUpAustraliaDay.
